The US movies are viewer submissions from the early days of the site. Kent Erickson strapped a camera into his car in Houston, Texas and filmed his commute four times in 2001 — to work and back home, once in August sunshine and again in December darkness.

Rex Racer went one better back in 1996: a Corvette cruising Montana at an indicated 150 mph on the speedometer. These movies survive in their original QuickTime format from that era, so they are offered as downloadable archive files rather than streaming video.
