In August 2017, I participated in the Public Driving Experience at the world-famous race track of Spa-Francorchamps in the Belgian Ardennes.
After a briefing about the track day and a short visit to race control, we took 2 laps riding shotgun in a Megane RS, piloted by a professional race driver.
Then it was time to hit the track in our own cars. As this is a public driving experience, the speed was limited to 100 km/h and there was a pace car between every 10 cars in order to slow everybody down to a save speed. Nonetheless it was a great experience to drive my own car around the track.
